Privacy Policy
App: Arjy FieldNet (com.arjy.fieldnet) · Last updated: October 4, 2026
In short: Arjy FieldNet does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no Internet permission and talks to no server.
1. Publisher
The app is published by [PUBLISHER NAME]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. Data collected
None. Arjy FieldNet includes no user account, no advertising, no analytics or statistics tool, and no third-party data-collection service.
3. Data displayed by the app
To work, the app analyzes the local network your USB adapter is connected to. It displays technical information about the devices present: IP and MAC addresses, vendor, announced names and models, open TCP ports, switch information (name, port, VLAN). This information:
- is processed locally on your phone, in memory, while you use the app;
- is never sent to any server or to the publisher;
- disappears when the app is closed, unless you export it (see below).
4. CSV export
If you use the export function, the app creates a temporary CSV file in its private storage, then opens Android's share sheet. You choose the destination app (messaging, storage, etc.); that sharing is governed by the privacy policy of that app. Arjy FieldNet never sends this file by itself.
5. Permissions
- USB host (USB OTG): required to communicate with the USB-to-Ethernet adapter. Android asks for your authorization when the adapter is plugged in.
- No Internet permission, and no location, contacts, camera, microphone or external storage permission.
The app interacts with the local network only through the USB adapter you plugged in, and only for the features you activate (passive listening, active scan, port scan).
6. Responsible use
The app is intended for networks you administer or are authorized to test. You are responsible for how you use it.
7. Children
The app is aimed at professionals and is not intended for children. No data is collected, including from minors.
8. Your rights
Since no personal data about you is collected or kept by the publisher, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on the publisher's side. You can delete the app's local data at any time from Android settings (Apps → Arjy FieldNet → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling it. For any question, contact us at the address above.
9. Changes
This policy may change, for example if a future version adds a feature that processes data. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
